I was wondering if any of you guys have tried or heard what these (look at the subject title) pickups sound like, I'm starting to Frankenstein out my Strat and was thinking of putting a Alnico 2 pro humbucker in the bridge position.

Thanks for any info!

i have em on my epiphone les paul. There pretty good. There what slash uses on his gibson les paul. If u can get your hand on the song "beggers and hangers on", the intro is clean alnico 2 pro. If you want more opionion on the subject go to harmoney central reviews.

http://www.harmony-central.com/User_Reviews/ find your way from there.
WWSD? What would stevie do?

Nah Im saying it beacause Ive had both pickups. Slash uses both but I think thee 59s have too low an output.
