What is a good make of one? Is there a big difference between cheap and expensive ones?

yes there is a BIG difference in cheaper and expencive ones, for instance i had the same question awhile back so i went and bought the danelectro noise suppressor which is like $20 and all it did was just give me a different sound of static and noise,so i got the boss noise suppressor and it works X100 better.effects are just like guitars dude u get what you pay for.

Cheers pal, bought one off ebay tonight. I read the reviews on harmony central and it says its great too.

sometimes the cheaper ones cut off tone too quickly and destroy the sustain.

Well i didnt win the auction on the boss one.
Yeah thats what Im worried about. sometimes theres a silent pause before my feedback might kick in. Would this stop the feedback at all!!?

HMMM IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU SET THE SETTING ON IT YOU CAN SET IT TO WERE YOU DONT GET ANY FEEDBACK OR LET THE FEEDBACK SUSTAIN FOR A COUPLE SECONDS AND THEN IT WILL CUT OFF BUT I CUTS IT OFF SMOOTHLY KIND OF SOUNDS LIKE A VOLUME PEDAL AT TIMES
