I want to sample lots of bird song and weird noises and use hem to create new midi voices which can be triggered by a guitar in (more or less) real time. I want to play like a bird can sing. A guitar is the perfect instrument for this, it's so damn expressive with all the potential for bends, whammy bars, volume controls etc.
How feasible is this? Would the combination of a Roland GR33 and Roland XV2020 along with some computer software (any recommendations?) allow such a task to be accomplished?
Please advise me!
