1) Post the tabs , perhaps I can help ... Anyway, I usualy use very strict alternate picking for scales , and sweep picking for arpeggios. (but the rules can be broken if necessary for sure)


2) Some people play with four fingers on one string (P,I,M & A) ... More Fingers = More Speed , simple equation.
