I don't recall a Victorian feel to any of their videos... but my perception my be off...But I will agree that some of the videos do seem off beat...I totally love the black and white style though. I really got into the band last year and have been just eating up the music ever since...borders on the 'unbalanced' at times. But for Guitar riffs I do think, in my humble opinion, that this band has it all together in that department as well... I see from your profile you are in or from Cambridge...Nice territory up there. I lived in Shrewsbury for 7 years as a teen. Miss it lots... My first "by myself no supervion" concert was Aerosmith at the Centrum in Worcester....Rock in a Hard Place tour...the one where Steven decided to darn near O.D. on stage...But honestly, if your from MASS, come on now...you can't tell me you haven't heard of them?.....

I work in a photo studio when I'm holiday from college(I'm finishing next week but one),and although people generally tend to look down on black and white photgraphy,I find really cool.and it has this thing, since theres no colour to distract you,you tend to zero in on the basics;form texture, tone, etc. If I was to put my name in a lonely hearts column,I'd ask the girls to send black and white photos;that way I'd really be able to judge their beauty.(I think).

wellKing, I agree with you on b/w photography. That is why the only picture of me online is in b/w. If you are interested, not that I'm posting to or answering any Lonely Hearts ad. you can view it here. ART&PIC....you can also see some of my artwork if you are interested....A little bit of self promotion never killed anyone, right?..... :-)

The new Staind album is really good. It has really changed from Break the Cycle. I suggest everyone checks it out.

I agree. Staind has come a LONG way from "Tormented." I was hesitant at first, but I'm glad I decided to buy it. And this package is DEFINITELY a buy, not a burn. The DVD that comes with it is really good. I'm so sick of those crappy Record Company extras they throw in for good measure. The DVD with this CD was compiled home videos since like, 1992 or something. Really shows you the band down and dirty. I love it.

The CD is perfect Staind. Dysfunction is still probably my favorite, but this latest one is slowly taking it's place. I think Break The Cycle was good, but a lot of the tracks are kind of...not as creative as Dysfunction. They just kind of...it sounds rushed. But the newest one is perfect. It's definitely bound to be that one that everyone buys and listens to it until it's dead, and then when the radio people finally realize there's other tracks than Price To Play on it, they'll start playing those dead. lol, I can see it now. 2 years from now, "and here's the new Staind song, 'Layne'."

I've listened to the whole album alot now. I think Layne is really my favorite song. I had the chance to see them in concert on the 26th and I was right there in front of the stage and in the thick. The show kicked major behind. Aaron is such a powerful performer. If anyone wants to see some pictures you can see them from that show here.

I used to be a huge staind fan. Their very first two albums kicked ass. "Tormented and Dysfunction" were really fitting to what kind of statement they wanted to make. I liked them a lot. "Break The Cycle" was alright, it had a few good songs on it. A lot of old hardcore fans ditched them but i was excited to see what step they would take next. I think they took a fitting one in writing mellower songs. I actually like their new album a lot and i'm happy for the guys.

Everyone should check out the whole bands history and not just this new album. :)

Your right. Every album is uniquely good in its own way.

If you're trying to sound more personal, you know, like first name and all that, then David would be the right thing to call me.And it's not even personal enough. Most people call Me Ng'ash(the Ng' is pronounced like the ng in young, and the ash just like ash, from burnt stuff),which is a shortening of my "given" name(Ng'ang'a),in the same way you'd call a guy called Michael Mike.
Now,after a girl that plays guitar, the girl I like most is one that draws. And it looks like you're both. Will you marry me?;)
Seriously, would you consider doing a portrait of me?In whatever style.Style to me meaning caricature, true to life, cartoon, anything that takes your fancy.I could send you a photo. And money if you wish to be paid.
Although the possibility of this fades by the day,if I ever release a CD,I think a lot of the artwork on the sleeve will be drawn(as opposed to photos). But there will be photos too.
