In the GT-3 , you can turn the effect off by clicking it's button twice , or clicking it once and switching it off from inside by the value button... Then you can save that into a patch.
I'm not sure, but I can't believe that they've removed such things that makes the unit versatile from the GT-6 , it's like going back instead of forward.
