Do you mean pickup models ? What style do you play ?
Check out Duncan, Dimarzio and EMG ... These are the most famous makers.

What's your problem with the middle single coil ? Do you want to disconnect it , or is it annoying for your playability ?

You can disconnect it and screw it to the guitar body so that it won't bother you , Malmsteen have his guitars this way.

I have h-s-h too , and that's how Steve Vai's guitars are set up , he oftenly uses the middle S ... It's usefull sometimes , I can get a surf rock like tone using combination of bridge H and the middle S.

Why do you want to cover the hole ? Is it for the "look" reason ?! I don't think it's so important.
You can get some plastic piece and cut it to fit in , paint it to yor guitar's color , and use an adhesive ... BTW, some adhesives may damage your guitar finish , better be sure of what you're using.

I think that your reason to disconnect it is cuz you never use it alone or by any combination with other H's , so that you can hav a 3-way toggle switch instead of 5-way , which will make you able to do the "flick toggle switch" trick, if you have 2 separate volume knobs.

If that's the reason , just buy a 3-way switch and do the job ... If you're not familiar with elec stuff , get a tech to do it for you... You won't cause any permanent harm if you tried anyway (unless you burn yourself with the soldering iron ;) ).

well to tell you the truth
its something about the looks :P
and also,yeah 2 reasons:
:i dont use it often
:i do not know any good h-s-h configuration
i was thinking of setting up dimarzio tone zone
and breed in the neck.
but i was lost and confused about any good single coils.
yeah,i use a five-way toggler
i might change it to a three.
hmm well i guess it wont matter then
maybe i shouldnt care bout the looks.
i just celophane it should do
still,do you know any good single coils?
that fits with tone zone and breed configuration.

I think you should care less for the look, nothing's wrong with having a middle S disconnected.

I'm not quite familiar with Single Coil models , but I know that EMG's are cool , also Fender, Duncan & Dimarzio HS-3 (or something like that) which are Malmsteen's signature p/u's ... Anyway , I suggest you just disconnect the S , get the H's you need and replace the 5-way with a 3-way switch , since you seem to care more about the H's and just would like a S that could go with them , right ?

To cover such holes without noticing that there ever was one i suggest you go to a luthier. He“ll remove the whole finish, fit a woodpiece in and puts on a new finish to the guitar - of course the guitar has to be worth it.

I like the H-S-H setup on my Ibanez RG270. It has bright, high-output hum at the bridge, a biting, twangy single coil in the middle, and a beefy, warm, smooth neck humbucker.
