Don't know much about the 7 string thing. I know that I thought the neck was a little wide on the Ibanez for me personally. I did like the neck on the ESP better though, even though it still felt like I was trying to fret on the fat end of a baseball bat.

See i was thinking of getting the guitar because i heard it was worth $400 but i'll be getting it for less than $100 - wouldn't it be worth it then? Its been used for 3 months. Only complaint the previous user didn't like 7 strings and couldn't get used to it when it came down to solos down past the 15th fret.
