Don't fret (pun intended) over it. If you like the Tak and in plays good and sounds good then that's good. It sounds like a keeper to me.
I'm finding (in my old age) that every guitar has it's own personality, sound and function. The way I look at it, you can't have too many guitars. My little Seagull is a great fingerpicking guitar but not good as a strummer nor flatpicker. I have a bunch of acoustics, they all have their own unique sounds as well as their weaknesses and advantages.
