I recently purchased a Fender Lonestar USA Strat and after changing the strings the other day noticed that when my new strings were on and I began tightening them it began pulling the bridge(American Standard)up and up, therefore making the action well high. What the hell is going on and will I have to get the bridge replaced? Is there something I'm doing wrong or don't know? Help is needed as I consider this to be my gigging axe and am getting a little worried. Any advice will be much appreciated.
