Natural Harmonics?
Can someone explain how its played? I know its on the 7th 9th and 12th frets or something like that..but is there a trick to it like lightly pressing on the strings??

You don't really press down on the fret at all, you see the metal fret marker? Place your finger over the top of it but dont push down. Then pick the string. Its very hard to explain but not to do. Hope this helps.
Sounding better is in your head ,not your amp.

Hold your finger lightly on the string, so that it is barely touching it. Then pick the string and immediatly lift your finger off.. that's how you get those cool-sounding natural harmonics. Oh, and incidently, it's not just the 7th, 9th and 12th frets where you can do this. You can actually do it on the entire fretboard, it's just damn easier on the frets mentioned above. Try going through all the frets and seeing what you can get out of them. You might be surprised.

Also, an interesting thing you can do (put a lot of distortion and use your bridge pickup) is slide your finger up and down the length of your low E string (without pressing down... just tickle it a bit) while picking constantly with your pick hand. this sounds random natural harmonics and is an interesting texture. some songs that use this are right on the tip of my tongue... but i can't quite catch them.
