what are those bits in songs that you strain in anticipation for, waiting impatiently for the earlier stuff to get over with and then when they happen you get a huge rush? some of the biggest hits for me are

first solo and the harmonica break on 'Big bad moon' by Satch
guitar solo on 'Baker street'
the Elliott Randall solo on Steely Dan's 'Reeling in the years'
fingerpicked triplets in the solo on 'Sultans of swing'
chord riffing towards the end of 'Sheep' by the Floyd
chord riff and drums part seeeing out 'Hong Kong Garden' by Sioixsie and the Banshees.
'Boogie no more' by Molly Hatchet - when its starts to pick up speed, the first solo and the slide guitar solo
the drums intro on Led Zep's 'Rock n roll'.
'In the air tonight' - the drum break

When the drums kick in to Stairway To Heaven, and then again when the guitar solo hits, thats like 5 mins of anticipation there, talk about foreplay.

Harmonica bits,if done well(timing, fitting in musically and all that)really take me away, from rock to country and back.
