you could get a medical dictionary and go through names of diseases and afflictions. Anthrax has already been taken. SARS is topical but Smallpox doesnt really have a ring to it. With Ebola, there's an opportunity for a pun on 'e-bow'. i think the pre-fix 'chronic' might be quite good. Chronic Affliction? other goods medical words to experiment with are psoriasis, xeroderma, scleroderma, rosacea, hailey-hailey, vitiligo, eczema, chlamydia, trachoma, herpes zoster, supparativa... Yes, I do work in the medical field, specialising in skin diseases of which most of the above are. it's a source of constant fascination.
