Everytime I see someones name, there is a rating above it, i am new member, i have seen senior member, moderator, etc.., how do you raise it, is it simply by the number of posts, because some people have less, but seem to have a higher rating.

New Member, Member, Senior Member and Grizzled Veteran are acceived ba number of posts - i think the scores are:
0-24 (or 49? - not sure) for New Member
25(50)-99 for Member
100-999 for Senior Member
1000 and above for Grizzled Veteran (thanx to Rask)
Moderator is for Moderators of the Boards and "Guitartricks Host" is for Peeps who are listed in the Host section of the Site
