A few posts back somebody mentioned Bill Dickens. Ive visited his site and see that Victor Wooten rates him highly. Can anyone here suggest some good stuff of his or is it mostly session work he does? He's also been linked with some guy called Neil Zaza who's meant to be a bit Satch-like? Anyone know anything?

Bill Dickens was Wooten's teacher for quite a while. I can't recomend any specific songs since I don't actually have any of his music, but I've seen him live (with Neil Zaza and Bobby Rock), and I know he's done a lot of ghost writing over the years. Actually, he wrote The Cosby Show's theme song.

The bottom line: Bill's an incredible technician, and Neil Zaza is pretty adept himself.
