I was trying to clean my fretboard on my Wolfgang. And the polish/vanish coat (i dont know what) has been slightly scratched off. How would i be ably to fix this problem?

i used a plastic sponge. any ideas. Ive only rubbed off a tiny bit but want to fix it nether the less
