Just like Natural Harmonics measurings ... 4,5,7,12,19,24,etc,etc,etc frets up .

No body do these measurings while playing , so just try to memorize them by feel or by sight having the pickups as a guide.

You get some good ones on the 3rd and 2.7th frets too. If you play 3,4,5 you get a major triad. You ought to measure some the distances between the nut and the harmonic nodes marked by frets (2.7, 3,4,5,7) and measure these from the bridge so you can find where they lie in relation to the pickups. If you then fret a bar over the 1st fret you will find that the positions of these nodes hardly change, they just move a little way towards the bridge. Nobody sane would suggest that you learn all the positions of nodes for every fret but if you experiment you will get some kind of sixth sense for where they are. Whatsmore by practicing pinches where you know damn well they ought to be you won't get into the bad habit of straining to make the squeal. Once you're used to getting them right at the easier nodes you will eventually have the lightness of touch to strike off unlikely bits of string so long as your on your bridge pick up with plenty of gain.

If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?
