i posted a message on some messageboard that ad absolutely nothing to do with guitars and someone helped me out, talk about pure luck!
they told me to tune down the strings until they were a step or two out of tune, then when their lose tighten the screws in the cavity, alas this worked! i was like 'woohoo!!'
now im having trouble tuning from E to drop D but thats okay considering my strings are not an inch off the fretboard and i can actually use my whammy bar now :)
