Dispy... I'm using Ernie Ball .010-.046s myself and got to have 4 springs in the bridge. When I use .009-.042s I only use three of them. This is my own easy setup while wandering through different gauges. You might try the fourth one and I believe it solves the issue although I think your problem could be solved also by doing a proper setup and using three springs.
