in my opionion, no marshall "fully tube" amp is cheap so your outta luck. This valvestate **** with the pre amp haveing dinky sized tubes dont cut it. Cheap, Tube, and Marshall dont go together in the same sentence. Besides i think marshall is living on past glory, but what a past it was!

WWSD? What would stevie do?

Some friends of mine have these peavey tube amps, theyre 2x10, and they sound great. Im not sure wha tmodel they are, but they said they paid around 500 for each one, so that isnt too bad.

if import costs dont screw you over, Laney make some great tube amps, I use a VH100L head for playing out live, it has that classic british tones, and gets saturated at high gain settings, really good for all styles of rock and metal, and the clean channel does good blues too. Over her in england they're one of the cheaper brands, but I'd take my laney over a marshall ANY day of the week

If you want cheap prices, buy a used amp.
I got my Ibanez Starfield 2x12 100w tube amp for 250$.
Now thats a bargain, I love it!

my opinon is to keep saving money and get a mesa.i learned the hard way buying amp after amp pedal after pedal, and then u realize **** ive spent enough money buying all this crap when i could have just been patient and saved a lil more for the mesa or marshall tsl.but what ever you do do not get crate,i beg you not to. but the best lil amp ive played was a 50 watt peavy bandit that amp was insane i got mine for about 250 bucks.

It would seem the gut feeling I have about Mesa Boogie isn't wrong.I saw one(Mk3)in a guitar book I have and it just turned me on.I've no idea how it sounds,I've no knowledge of famous dudes who've used it,but if I opened a bottle and a geenie came out and told me to make a wish,I'd wish for the MB.
