I'm getting it cheap and my theory is "it's always nice to have another guitar." But in order to look at it without wincing at the gay light blue color, I've been thinking on how to decorate it. Instead of painting it, I was thinking about sanding the existing paint off of it and staining it. Any objections, ideas, or comments to this?

I'm getting an old Epiphone guitar thats REALLY weird looking. It's not shaped like normal ephiphone's (infact, it kind of looks like some sort of Telecaster on drugs ....)
