The only problem I have with them is that everyone uses them. I mean there have been a few that have "earned" the right to use it, like Slash. I mean nowadays there are all kinds of punk bands using the Les Paul. I am not a big fan of their sound, and I am not one to "follow the crowd". Ya their heavy too, I thought carrying around my Tele was bad for a few hours, I couldn't imagine a Les Paul for that long!
