Ok Gang, I have been saving my pennies and it is time to get a Les Paul, but hold on a mo…. which one ? There are like a billion different models !

Im thinking of a either a classic or a studio, any one out their in Guitar tricks land have vast amounts of les Paul experience? I have trawled through Gibson’s Web site as well as Harmony Central and have started to form an impression however.....

In terms of quality vs price is a custom LP worth nearly 2k more than a studio LP ?

I will sit down with a bunch of axes before I decide to buy anything however any input / experience would be good to know, forewarned is forearmed etc !
