Good Sweep Picking work out

Hi guys,
I've been sweeping for a little while now, but i was wondering if you have some kind of routine to pratice because i'm really needing one.

I usualy start with 2 string sweeps(economy picking) al la Rising Force solo, than three, a little bit on four, and than finish off with 5 and 6. Usualy when I´m ready with four str. I go back to 3 str. sweeps and the difrence is huge compared to first rime. Than at the end I finish the session by playn´ some harder sweeps, mostly combined with slides. Pretty much Jason Becker over those.

If you're still beginning , try mastering the normal 3 string sweeping (Metallica's "lepper messiah" solo , Malmsteen diminished sweep ,etc.) first , to get your picking hand used to small sweeping motion correctly.
Then move on to 4,5,6 & 7 (in case you got one) sweeps.

Could you please post a link to some of the sweeps you are talking about? or write them if you can?

So check'em out , but they're mostly 5 or 6 strings , so get familiar with those 3 string sweeps first so that you get used to the sweep picking motion and focus on more difficult fretting hand stuff.

BTW , 3 strings sweeps are parts of bigger extended arpeggios on 6 strings , or get it the other way , 6 strings sweeps are extended 3 string sweeps ... You'll notice that from their shapes.

How do you play the last ones. Btw, they are pretty hard for a begginer. And while we are on that here are some of my fav. sweeps. The first one of yours aiwass I like very much and...

There you´ve got some more to practice. Takes some time but are definitly worth.
