A metronome is a time keeping machine... Go to the store and ask the salesman to show you one , or search for a metronome program online ... I remember I saw free ones on http://www.download.com .


Sweep picking is picking in one direction while changing strings , mainly used for Arpeggios... Here's an example :

D= Downstroke , U= Upstroke

That was an Amin arpeggio.
