I am attempting to build a telecaster. I got some used pickups off ebay the other day. They are probably junk but I really just wanted them to get the layout right before I started routing. The bridge pickup is a telecaster style that has the metal plate on the bottom of the magnet. It isn't attached anymore. I don't know if it was just cheap glue or what but what do I need to use to glue this back on. I know it won't change how the pickup sounds or anything, I am just wondering what's the best thing to use on it.
p.s. I am going to take pictures and document the whole process. If anyone's interested I will post the website when I am done.
Also is there anyway to test the pickup without it being in the guitar? It will be several months before I have the guitar ready to put the pickups in. Would like to make sure they work since I just got them off ebay.
