I have a lot of stuff in my room so i think that could be giving some noise :(....I have 2 TVs :confused:, a computer and a cd player. If all of this is turned off then wont that stop the interferance it causes?

I have an Ibanez RG-27ODX-CE and my amp is a Marshal MG30DFX. My guitar has 2 humbuckers and a single coil....(i think the double single coils next to each other are humbuckers). I have a ****ty £8 cable so that wont be helping with the noise. Im going to buy a Monster 500 instrument cable but i have the Boss Metalzone MT-2 so wont i need 2!? because i have to connect the guitar to the pedal and the pedal to the amp. I was thinking about cutting the cable and puting new connectors on each end so i can just have one short one and a long one, but i suppose this will bugger up the balancing will it? Or isd it possible if i get two new connectors of the same type thats on the Monster 500 instrument cable's?
