I don't think you are allergic to the strings, I think the strings are allergic to you, you may be a tad acidic, how often are you changing strings? How humid is the climate where you live? I spent a summer in northern Alabama and saw rust appear on bare metal in less than 15 minutes, if it's not you, it may be your enviroment........
