Cabinet Compatible?

Can I plug my marshall avt100 into a 1960 Marshall 4 x 12 Cab? The avt100 has a loud speaker cable that goes into the inbuilt speaker. Could I plug this into my 1960 instead of the inbuilt speaker on the avt?
