I am looking for an expression pedal that will work with my Katana plugged into the jack on the back of the amp and I don't want to shell out the money for a Boss pedal, looking for something under $100 CAD. Recommendations anyone?

There are cheapy ones on Amazon or Sweetwater rom AKAI and other brands for around $20. But if you want something of more quality, you'll be looking to shell out closer to $100. Anyone here know of other expression pedals that won't break the bank?

I bought  an M-Audio EX-P off of Amazon for a little over $40, it works fine. This is just for home use, no gigs so I think it will be durable enough.

I've been looking at one of these, might give it a try.

The Katana Mk2 50 is a guitar amplifier in the Katana series by BOSS. It is a 50-watt combo amp with a 12-inch speaker and features five unique amp characters that can be switched between using a dedicated panel button or the optional GA-FC foot controller. The five amp characters include Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown, and Acoustic, and each character offers a range of tonal options that can be further customized using the onboard controls.

In addition to the amp characters, the Katana Mk2 50 also features over 60 built-in effects, including delays, reverbs, modulations, and more. The amp also includes four Tone Setting memories for saving and recalling custom amp and effects settings.

Other features of the Katana Mk2 50 include a cab-emulated headphone/recording output for silent practice or direct recording, a USB interface for recording and editing using a computer, and compatibility with the BOSS Tone Studio software for further customization and control. Overall, the Katana Mk2 50 is a versatile and feature-packed guitar amp that is suitable for a wide range of playing styles and genres.
