I found some crazy pics of Ozzy´s Jake E Lee where he does some crazy technique showing off stuff. Some of them I understand but most of them not, especially overhand slide stuff.

If anyone can explain some of them (except the most obvious of course like tapping stuff) I would be thankfull.

Here´s the link:

http://www.jefnel1.com/jakeelee and click your self to technique part wich can be easily found on menu base.

He was famous for this weird tapping thing where he would use his thumb like a barre (fretting notes) to extend the reach of his fingers. I remember it was horrible to get into and out of in a hurry !
My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

The guys from the Hellecastors doe a lot of that behind the nut string bending stuff. It's a cool sound, but quickly takes the string out of tune.
I see ole Jake had a thing against tremelo bars!

"A lot of people use the (tremolo) bar when their brain or their heart quits thinking about the music." - Jake E. Lee

-I can say that he´s got a point there.
