When talkin´ about Ozzy´s guitarists Randy and Zakk are the only ones in picture but why don´t anybody mention Jake E Lee. Guy´s excellent. I love especially his work on Bark At The Moon and especially on the song Bark At The Moon. Killer riffs with a killer solo.

What´s your thought´s about Jake and also about Joe Holmes whom I´ve heard anything from. Is he worth checkin´ out?

Jake's pretty good, check out Lightning Strikes. from what i've heard he's talented and skilled.

i haven't heard much of Homles, he's supposed to be really good, (anybody from the Randy Rhoads school of guitar must know what they're talking about).
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

i loved Jake E. Lee on 'Bark At The Moon'. a great riff and one of my very favorite solos ever!!! he never gets mentioned when people talk about all the incredible guitarists that Ozzy has had working with him.
Thanks for listening to this small piece of me.

He´s definitly one of worlds most underated players. And he´s probably not known by many ´cause of his low profile.

was he the one that played on the live album? The one where Ozzy's sitting on the throne with the goo in his mouth. The one where they covered all the Black Sabbath songs?

Ozzy employs some really top people: have you guys heard of a bassist called Robert Trujillo? He played with Infectious groves and suicidal tendencies along with the singer, Mike Muir (who regrettably, was also involved in both bands and who can't sing for ****)and I heard some amazing funky slapy/tappy Claypoolesque shredding. I've never heard him play with Ozzy but I know he has, have you guys heard him?
If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?

If your talking about the live video (The ultimate ozzy) chris mood, then yes...that is Jake E. Lee.
My most fav. Jake E. Lee song with Ozzy is "Lightning Strikes", the comes Bark at the moon, then Rock n roll rebel.
Those are my favs above but I really like every song he did with Ozzy :-).
Badlands kicked but as well but took me awhile to get used to. I had to listen to it differently as it was very different from Ozzy. It was more bluesy. I was expecting metal. I appreciate it a lot more now that I'm older. I also have his Badlands video "Dab the giblets" or something to that effect.

I started learning guitar because of Randy Rhoads..but Yngwie J. Malmsteen is my biggest influence.

Ligtning Strikes is nice but still my fav. is Bark At The Moon. Solo is killer and background to the solo is best ever. Man just listen to those chord changes. That riff after 2:nd chorus wich comes at the end too is one of my absolute fav. out there.

Also, termolo picking (when you play fast on one note) like Eruption stuff our Randy´s Mr. Crowley part, just listen to the solo in Center Of Eternety. That termolo picking part is amazing.

Jack kicks a*s*s but isn´t famous at all like Randy our Zakk wich is sad.

Jake E. Lee is underated, he is alright, but he was Ozzy's WORST guitarist! His only good song is bark at the moon!
If I leave here tomorrow,
Will you still remember me?

The album with Ozzy sitting on a throne with meat looking stuff coming out of his mouth was Speak Of The Devil. The guitar player on that album was Brad Gillis, another smoking guitar player.
