Hi all from Upstate, South Carolina.  I've noodled around with guitar off and on in the past, but never really got beyond struming a couple of chords.  I decided that for my 65th birthday, I would buy another guitar and seriously learn to play ... 2 months in and it's really going well.  I try to practice at least a few minutes each day and just enjoy it more than ever.  I can now strum a bit and change chords fairly smoothly, so I am encouraged.  Great to find this site and begin learning from the robust collection of players here.

Just a 65 yr old beginner .... Upstate, South Carolina
