He everyone,

I don'tpost very often, in fact I think this may be the second time...I've just finished guitar fundamentals 1+2 and am onto the next phase, acoustic 1 and Blues 1.  Does anyone know of a groovy acronym for remembering the pattern of the 12 bar blues? (4 bars of A, 4 bars of D, 2 of A etc....  it looks like A,D,A,E,D, E, A) like we learnt..'Every good boy deserves fruit' ( I remember learning this in primary school and I'm in my 50's now, Its never left me) and "Eddie ate dynamite, good bye eddie".  This sort of learning really sticks with me and I can't be arsed repeatedly going over the 12 bar patterns in blues 1, as its a bit slow and I tune out as I know the chords well. I want to get the pattern stuck in my brain so I can move on to something more technical.

Any idea's most welcome.  Something will gel and it will stick, I'm sure.

Kind regards to you all from Melbourne Australia
