I have the AVT100 Marshall combo but am thinking bout getting a JCM900 or TSL2000 stack. Anyone ever had both or moved between these two, what are the differences?

Cheers

I have an AVT275 2x12 combo that I have hooked up to a 4x12 Marshall cabinet, and it sounds amazing. I love all the chanels. Both overdrive chanels are great, just depends on what sound you're looking for. I have the gain turned down on OD1 for a mild crunch, and it's real responsive to your attack on the strings. I have the gain on OD2 just past half way and the "scoop" button on for that heavy rattle your bones headbang inducing tone. I'm thinking the clean on the AVT will probably stay cleaner at higher volumes. BTW these 150 watts of hybrid tone are extremely loud through a cab. I had it cut up halfe way once and had to stand about 5-10 feet away from it so my ears wouldn't ring. For the effects the reverbs and chorus are the only ones I use. I love the chorus matched up with "my" clean tone. I know this didn't help answere your question, but I thought I would give you my opinion on the AVT
