amp picking up NPR

Hey guys, just a little story that freaked me out. So I'm a college student who lives in a crappy college-town house with 4 of my buddies. My room's kinda small because I have so much stuff packed into it. A computer desk, entertainment center, 3 guitars on their stands, and a queen-size waterbed, etc.. Anyway, I was drunk one Saturday night, and decided to start jammin. I flipped on my amp and low-and-behold it started talking to me! I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on, then I realized that my PS2 controller was sitting on top of my amp acting like an antenna. It only picks up NPR (National Public Radio), but I was hoping it would play some gnr. :)

that's pretty cool.
i heard that wah-wah pedals do that too sometimes.
