also, i think that it's terrific when people have conflicting opinions. it makes your ideas and thinking stronger. i mean, if someone really thinks someone is a great guitarist and another guy proves that he sucks terribly; than the first guy has just benefitted from an opinion opposite to his.
but when people get all pissy over it, it becomes boring and repetitive. but constructive arguments are one of the best ways to learn. not petty spats though.
