Don't give up. I've been playing a little over two years and I just now finally got a teacher. He's a really great musician. Just try to take lessons and don't give up alright.

Also, take your time if something dosen't sound right just work w/it till you figure it out, but don't overdo it, if it gets frustrating then stop. Don't practice that song or whatever for the rest of the day just play somethin else and go back to that the next day. My guitar teacher had me to go out and buy an oven timmer and to practice only thrity mins. a day w/ what we went over, and as soon as the alarm goes off stop no matter where your are. It works, it has helped me alot. You then play whatever you want when I said stop i didn't mean stop. Just don't practice that. Also get out and jam w/someone on sats. and suns. if you can, but don't practice on thoese days. It works try it.
