What does it mean when an amp has an "FX Loop"?? The amp that I am currently saving for has an FX Loop, but no built in effects accept for Reverb. In case anyone wants to know its the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

The FX loop is a set of in/out jacks that allow you to connect external effect pedals or rack units into one of the secondary stages of the preamp. Usually this patch is tapped into the circuit after the tone stack, allowing the effect to take more control over the effected signal's EQ.

Thanks alot, I thought it meant some sort of preset effects into the amp that cycled. I don't know what I was thinking.
