Hi Admin,

I know it's a constant challenge to keep these types of things out.  Is there a way I can report if a see someone putting their advertising crap in the forum?  I just saw a "registered user" spamming a medical website in response to a real users question about seeing music notation on his device.

Thanks,

Hey RW,

You can report them here via email: admin@guitartricks.com.

They're like little weasels. Nuke one and two will replace it within an hour.

Spammers have been active this month... I'm probably reporting an average of six each morning.  Admin is quite good about responding and removes the post and bans the user; sometimes in minutes, almost always within three hours.

I think Admin relies on the username to find the reported crap.  My reporting format is username, post number, thread title and its sub-forum.
