bridge adjustment

I have an acoustic and my strings are riding higher than i'd like. if anyone knows how to lower the bridge, i would greatly appreciate it. thanx

I guess you'll have to change it , or cut a little piece from it... It's not as simple as elec.

Check to see if there are any "shims" under the bridge. Many acoustics have these under the bridge ( in the space where the bridge sits ) which allow for adjusting the bridge height. You can remove these and effectively bring the bridge down ( or add shims to rasie the bridge).
