Hi, I have just completed guitar fundamentals one and moved onto power chords in Lisa level 2.[br][br]I have tried doing a few (Made easy songs) on my own with the difficulty level at 2 bars (The same difficulty as all of level one) [br][br]How come in some of these songs there are still certain elements that I have not learned yet (for example Barre chords?)

Been a while but pretty sure Lisa introduces barre chords in her course.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

She absolutley does but that is in level 2, not level 1. However after level one it gives a list of songs to play before moving to level 2. [br][br]In these songs there are level 2 concepts for some reason

Hello,

Could you site some specific songs that were using them, because I played a few of them after I finished level1 and don't remember any barre chords in them. If there were I'm sure you could use the open versions of the chords you learned in Fund 1 to get by. As you progress you'll learn that there are many ways to play or "voice" a chord. Barre chords just being one of them and guitartricks wants to teach you songs as precise as possible to how it was written and recorded originally, however feel free to use the tools you've learned up to that point.

Good Luck in your studies.

Moe
