hey everyone,
i'm been reading some posts that mention artificial harmonics and i'm wondering what they are exactly? i know what harmonics, as in tuning you guitar with harmonics and natural harmonics and pinch harmonics are, but fill me in with artificial harmonics please.

The short answer is that artificial harmonics are those where you fret a note, natural harmonics are on open strings. Pinch harmonics, touch harmonics, harp harmonics can be either.
