rock 'n roll jump

hey, anyone have any good tips on how to do good rock 'n roll jumps? if you dont know what i mean, its where you jump up real high and sort of push your guitar out in from of you..... its on alot of sum41 videos. \

In terms of what [u]not[/u] to do, I advise you to avoid doing outdoor gigs in the rain, on an unsheltered stage. I tried doing a big Pete Townsend windmill leap, lost my footing, and did the splits into a puddle! :eek:

Just jump up so that youll land and hit your chord right on time with the beat. It takes a bit of pratice but it looks cool when all guitarists/bassists do it right in sync

yah, i kinda figured that out, but what do you do when ur in the air? i have tried like sort of tweaking my guitar out and kicking my feet and it loks okay, but ive got to work on it

Pete T. is the master of this technique. I was suprised when I saw The Who concert from late 60-s how tight he and Keith Moon were. Righ on beat.
