This is a picture of a tab and it shows a pulloff with 4 EAD and 3EAD. How does that work? I know if it was just 4E and 3E you'd hold down 4E and 3E and play the note and pluck your finger off the 4E, but how is that supposed to work with 3 strings held?

You've got the right idea. But with more than 1 string you'll have to use the pads of your fingers like a barre chord. You could either use:

1. Pinky for 4th fret & ring for 3rd fret.

2. Index for 1st fret, slide up to 3rd fret & use middle for 4th fret.

Hope that helps!

I think I'd cheat and see if sliding sounded ok. Much simpler technique.....

I wish this forum had a "block user" feature. Possibly I'm not the only one......
