Yes, it is usually has the I-IV-V chords from a key in a certain order. Anders covers it in Blues level 1.

But there are variations occasionally. Like minor blues.

Adding a quick change to IV or an additional bVI for dramatic tension.

And even a different amount of bars. Like 8 bars.

Or 16 bars.
