To everyone that has responded, thank you so much for taking interest in my post. Your insight has been extremely helpful in getting me through the slump I was in. I have changed my perception of guitar playing proficiency as a destination, and understand now that it is indeed a journey. I shed my expectations, and have decided to just enjoy the journey.
