A pitch pipe might be good for your application, or if worst comes to worst throw into your boombox a CD of (for example) Master of Puppets and play Welcome Home (Sanitarium) - it has a good open E at the intro and then open tune your ride from there. Anything that you have in your collection that you know is where you want to be should work.
