I'm still searching for a really twangy Tele sound and considering changing the pickups (Tele Player Edition).

I'm trying to decide between Seymour Duncan vintage stack and Fender Custom Texas Specials, or maybe someone can suggest a better option?

Any suggestions need to be available in UK

This is a great question! We know that tele's have that famous twang with even their stock pickups. Maybe someone else in this forum has an expertice in pickups?

Definitely an option. Possibly a little "hotter' than I'm looking for, but I'm also considering picking up a "project" Strat when I see one cheap enough. I think a set of Cherry Vegas will be the choice for that.

Thanks for the suggestion.
