My name is Scott I live in Massachusetts USA. I am 59 and have decided to pickup a hobby to help keep my mind engaged when I retire. I diddled around a bit when I was a teenager and have decided to learn for real. I have chosen to learn on a beginners electric with a small amp. I have found that I have short sausage like fingers so some of the chords that somone else can play with their index middle and ring fingers...I have adapted and used my pinky instead of the ring. I am looking forword to learning from each of you and hearing as much feedback as I can get positive and negitive. with that said let's play on!

Scott, welcome to you. There are many, possibly more than you would expect, including me, with your story. I played in a band, on bass, in high school. I decided to take it up again in retirement.

Good luck!
